On November 30, Energy China GPEC signed a contract for the main construction project of the 2×600MW gas-steam combined cycle heat, power and cold cogeneration projects of the Huizhou Daya Bay Petrochemical Zone Integrated Energy Station Project.
Li Jun, general manager of Guangdong Yudean Daya Bay Integrated Energy Co., Ltd., Liu Ruihua, chairman of Energy China GPEC, and Bai Xuehan, general manager and director of Energy China GPEC, attended the signing ceremony. Li Jun and Bai Xuehan signed the contract agreement on behalf of their respective parties.
Before the signing ceremony, the two parties conducted in-depth exchanges on their respective business sectors, development advantages and strategic cooperation details.
Li Jun pointed out that Guangdong Energy Group Co., Ltd. and Energy China GPEC had achieved mutual trust and common progress through past cooperation, and had achieved win-win development. In the construction of the integrated energy station project in Huizhou Daya Bay Petrochemical Zone, it is hoped that Energy China GPEC will attach great importance to the project, promote the orderly development of tasks with strict requirements and high standards, ensure that the project is completed and put into operation at a high level, and strive to make it a high-quality project.
Liu Ruihua said that Energy China GPEC and Guangdong Energy Group Co., Ltd. have established a good partnership and thanked Guangdong Energy Group Co., Ltd. for its long-time care and support for the development of Energy China GPEC. Energy China GPEC will organize the tasks meticulously, plan in advance, abide by the contract, and carry out the construction in a scientific-based way, while ensuring safety, high-quality, and efficiency. We will go all out to build quality and benchmark projects, thus contributing to the development of the energy industry in Guangdong Province and promoting cooperation between the two companies.
Zhou Jinliang and Huang Zhanxun, deputy general managers of Guangdong Yudean Daya Bay Integrated Energy Co., Ltd., Zheng Qingdi and Luo Xiongdong, deputy general managers of Energy China GPEC, and the heads of relevant departments of both companies attended the signing ceremony.
The project is located in Huizhou, Guangdong, on the western plot of Daya Bay Petrochemical District. The plan is to build 4×600MW gas-steam combined cycle heat, power and cold cogeneration units. In the current phase, it is planned to build 2×600MW 9H gas-steam combined cycle heat, power and cold cogeneration units. It is the first integrated comprehensive energy demonstration base with hydrogen energy utilization in China and is jointly funded and constructed by Guangdong Energy Group Co., Ltd. and Huizhou Daya Bay Petrochemical Industrial Zone Investment Co., Ltd. Energy China GPEC is responsible for the main construction project of the project's 2×600MW gas-steam combined cycle heat, power and cold cogeneration units.
When the project is put into operation, the annual power generation capacity is estimated to be 4.7 billion kWh and the heat supply to be 11.12 million GJ, which will greatly enhance the power supply capacity of Huizhou, meet the heat load demand in the western part of the Daya Bay Petrochemical Zone, and absorb the combustible hydrogen-rich exhaust from the major surrounding projects, improve the comprehensive utilization rate of energy, and explore and lead a new model of integrated energy supply in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It will have a positive significance in accelerating the goal of "carbon peak and carbon neutrality".
